Mixed Media Explorations

We had a lot of awesome mixed media work in our art center today.  It's always amazing to see what children will come up with when given the chance to openly explore and use materials creatively.  We believe children need to be able to freely explore with a variety of mediums.  We encourage free expression rather than "cookie cutter" crafts common in traditional preschool and childcare programs.  The process of creation is more important than the product!
